For the total beginner or students interested in experimenting and extending their skills.

Day workshop in painting (for beginners). Following an introduction to basic techniques, weather permitting, students will be sketching outdoors for part of the day. The sketches will be used as the reference for a painting.  All materials provided.

  • All materials provided but students are requested to bring photographs or sketches to paint, and a packed lunch if required.  Refreshments will be provided.

About the Tutor:

Alison is an artist, illustrator, animator, model maker, film-maker and teacher, and has won a number of awards for her work.  Her work has included:
