Saturday Morning Work Experience
Moray Art Centre seeks a Saturday morning (9am – 1pm) volunteer to assist with its busy gallery, classrooms and shop.
We need help with: class preparation and clearing away, making refreshments and gallery care.
Perfect for those interested in the arts or just wishing to enhance their CV – you can even put the hours towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award and other local volunteer schemes!

Centre & Gallery Assistant – Position filled
Moray Art Centre seeks a Centre & Gallery Assistant who will work closely with the Gallery Manager learning how to oversee the Centre’s two exhibition spaces. The post will also be trained in how to co-ordinate and maintain the rest of the Centre’s facilities and equipment, as well as reception duties.
This post is an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in working in an art centre, as well as gaining transferable skills which can also be used in tourism, hospitality and administration areas.

- Receive one-to-one mentoring from artists, teachers and creative professionals
- Receive FREE structured training in project planning, fundraising, the curriculum for excellence, first aid and much more!
- Assist with young people’s workshops at Moray Art Centre
- Design and deliver your very own workshop to a selection of community groups, youth groups and schools.
- Plan, curate and deliver a joint exhibition with fellow graduates, having your work displayed in a premier art gallery.
The Artist Mentoring Programme is facilitated by Moray Art Centre on behalf of the Moray Creative Learning Network and Moray Council, supported by Education Scotland and Creative Scotland. Art college graduates from across the region are invited to attend regular meetings and training sessions, requiring availability at evenings/weekends and occasional weekdays. Commencing Thursday, 20th September 2012, and running for a period of 6 months, the majority of sessions will take place at Moray Art Centre (Findhorn) or selected venues across Moray.
