Say YES ... and come and play in this new 6 week improvisational theatre workshop course!
Improvisation is a form of theatrical performance in which everything is made up in the moment. It is a fantastic way to create drama without the boundries of a script, to bring your imagination and ideas to the group and to let loose and express your inner thoughts in a safe and creative environment!
You will have probably seen all kinds of comedy improv on TV or in comedy nightclubs. These workshops are different in that you do not have to be funny, although there will be plenty of rip roaring moments for sure!
We will be exploring improvisation through a variety of drama games and techniques, some leading us into more serious thought provoking ideas and scenarios, and others leading us into silly heaps of giggles.
These workshops are perfect for beginners and seasoned players. Ultimately, this is an opportunity to come together and PLAY!
