What does it take to sustain a creative practice?
Come and learn from experiences of local emerging creatives, Toni Harrower and Rachel Maclure about the realities of sustaining a creative practice. Learn what it takes to help stay motivated and continue to build your practice to enable more creative confidence.
Toni Harrower is a local abstract systems painter who loves working in a range of mediums from oil paint to resin. Graduating from Grays school of art 2016 she explores the celebration of colour and the enjoyment of paint are the basic ingredients in her work.
Graduating from Moray School of Art, UHI with a first class BA Hons Fine Art Textiles Degree in 2020. Rachel McClure's work explores walking and being in the built environment as an artistic practice, considering the seen and unseen, or unnoticed. Walking allows direct contact with our surroundings and Rachel's work uses this multi-sensory embodied experience to consider and map our environment.
