How can we overcome a creative standstill, and where do we get our creative juices flowing? How to select one concept from hundreds of possibilities and how to bring it to reality. We will learn how to prepare for the shoot: assembling the puzzle pieces for the intended shot. The concept, the location, the tools, and the props. Making a plan, sourcing resources, and shooting are all covered, including working with a camera and using your own body as a subject. We will work in groups and individually to assist in the discovery and expression of ideas, as well as the telling of our own stories. Editing in Adobe Photoshop. You will learn how to prepare a photograph for printing: cropping, colour adjustments, converting to black and white, using creative filters. Who is this course for? For those who are just starting out in photography or for those who want to try something different. What do you need? In general, nothing exceptional is required - simply a basic understanding of the camera's fundamental settings which we will cover during the workshop.
