People make MAC

Volunteering is a great way to develop your potential, gain work experience and boost your CV while making a real difference to people’s lives.
Volunteers play a crucial role in Moray Art Centre’s work. In return for sharing your time, you will have new experiences and challenges meet new people, and get involved in exciting activities within Moray Art Centre. You will also develop your skills, through training, day-to-day support, supervision and feedback.
There are many ways that you can volunteer with us, for example: helping out on reception, repairs and maintenance, showing visitors around our exhibitions, or assisting with our extensive outreach and education programme.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us on admin@morayartcentre.org or +44 (0) 1309 692426.
We look forward to meeting you!

Interested in becoming a board member?
Love art, sharing ideas, meeting people or managing money? Or simply looking for a way to help your community? If you enjoy any of these things Moray Art Centre needs you. We need new Trustees to supplement our existing Board, and are particularly looking for someone with accountancy skills.
We are a hands-on Board meeting every 3 weeks, focused on guiding MAC's operations, planning our future and managing the centre's finances. As the Board manages MAC operations the average Board member can spend up to 10 hours a week on MAC business. We produce an annual exhibition programme of inspirational established artists that also gives local emerging artists a platform, lead workshops throughout the year and create innovative projects such as our Art on Nature wellbeing programme and our Artists Hub.
As a Trustee you will be with a very supportive group of volunteers working in all the areas of managing MAC and helping to ensure it's sustainable and community-focused future. Find more about our Vision and Manifesto on our website.
For more details, and an informal chat, just email us (lucy@morayartcentre.org) and we will get in touch.
